2) Characteristics of Spur Gear

Characterised by high machining precision (tooth profile tolerances of IT5-IT6 grade, surface roughness Ra≤0.8μm), with tooth profiles featuring either a modified or barrel design (to reduce meshing impact). Materials predominantly comprise high-strength alloys (such as 20CrMnMo) enhanced through heat treatment; Advantages include low operational noise (no-load noise ≤65dB), high transmission accuracy (transmission error ≤0.01mm), and exceptional wear resistance (tooth surface hardness 58-62HRC). These gears maintain stable performance during prolonged operation, minimising vibration impact on equipment.
